In breathless voice
the feckless spake
"I need you. I love you."
Only so much can
the grieved take
before the world undo.
Alas, we fall
for weaknesses,
then to the world "adieu."

Leanne. [Third Draft]I thought of you today;Leanne. [Third Draft] by ~TheNAUGHTicalLife
no crimped tuxedo,
no tears to wear down
the paint on your walls.
No me.
In stained images I could see
your wrinkled dress,
your poverty;
both worn like raindrops
on your pretty plastic bonnet.
A rush of blood surges
up my beaten face
as I reached for spare change
in an empty apartment
I passively call a home.
Thunder crashing through
two crowded temples
as I spin the doorknob,
a faint knotting at my side.
I began to wonder what I'll say
when she asks about
you.

Dirt. [Brought to you by Ghosts in the Attic]What about me seems real to you?Dirt. [Brought to you by Ghosts in the Attic] by ~TheNAUGHTicalLife
The less happiness, the more truth
creeps in to oxygen,
let's me breathe in you.
Mon pays ce n'est pas un pays,
c'est la vie.
Her eyes,
my lies are hollow.
I'll just stay still and
distilled.
C'est la vie,
C'est ma vie aussi.
Acres of tall grass and fireflys,
I could get lost in it for life.
My next few words
will make it all okay.
In my mind you are happy without
a shred of doubt my love exists
or even did it doesn't
matter anymore.
Mon coeur ce n'est pas un coeur,
c'est la vie.
Her eyes,
my lies are hollow.
I'll just stay still and
distilled.
C'est la vie,
C'est ma vie aussi.

Errands. [A poem brought to you by tNL]Sometimes a pickle isErrands. [A poem brought to you by tNL] by ~TheNAUGHTicalLife
just a pickle,
but a Flesh Light
always is
what it is and
I can’t find one
at a grocery store.

Those good old Oxford blues. [Rough Draft]God must know of MiltonThose good old Oxford blues. [Rough Draft] by ~TheNAUGHTicalLife
as surely the vampires do.
The one who wins the battle of words
wins as well the Verbiage War.
No death nor discourse
but fallibility
for corresponding shapes.
Then the inkwells will run over
onto the aged manuscripts of modernity,
where prophets scrawled dictations
on weakness.
No pestilence more,
save for l'auteur.
